Nissan South Africa
Repairs, faultfinding and diagnosis incompetence

I bought a 2011 Navara 2.5 dci le in 2011 from Star Nissan Vereeniging. 1. The bulb on the mirror needed to be replaced, they said they can only break the mirror to access the bulb. they broke the mirror and replaced the bulb as well as the mirror. 2. The diesel pipe connecting onto the common rail keep bursting and the car keep going on safe mode and loosing power. they keep on replacing the pipe (3 X @ 3 different dealerships). last time they replaced the injector, the common rail, and fuel pump. For the same problem, the car went 2 x @ BB-Auto Polokwane. For the same problem, the car went 1 x @ Bela-Bela Nissan, For the same Problem the car is now @ Global Nissan Hartfield, they say they are replacing the pipe again. As to finding the root cause, it seems they do not know how. i have totally lost confidence in these chaps, since i actualy doubted them when they say they have to break a mirror costing R700 in irder to replace a bulb not costing R20. I'm spending most of the time next to the road, either hitch-hiking or waiting for the tow truck. i hate Nissan. Nissan must stop importing these cars if they can't train their incompetent staff to repair them.
