I cannot voice my frustration with Toyota South Africa more!!
I drive a 2012 Toyota Verso and a week & a half ago unfortunately had someone smash our my rear windshield to break into my car. I am so disappointed that there is not a single replacement part available in South Africa!! I have placed an order for a new one and the ETA is 13th Dec. This is not acceptable to me. I only drive a Toyota, I have bought 4 brand new Toyotas in the last 4 years and one of the over riding purchase decisions is the fact that parts are easily obtained. I am currently paying for a hire car as I cannot drive mine like it is... this is not acceptable!
I am also planning to go on holiday from 16th Dec and if this windshield doesnt arrive on time, I dont know what I am supposed to drive my family in.
Please can someone tell me what can be done to help me rectify my situation faster? Why cant we take a windshield off a new car and put it in on mine?? Why should I bear all the inconvenience for zero stock holding in Toyota South Africa??
I have already contacted the Care Centre but they cannot help me expedite.
