A truck belonging to 'Rocket Trading Rubble Removal/Rolling Stones Paving' dropped off a fully laden load of rubble on our street, and then hurried off leaving the container.
I called the number located on the container to which Rynard Swanepoel answered. In short, I was told that it wouldnt be there long, as they were swopping out containers.
When I informed Rynard Swanepoel that it was illeagal (and that i was to contact the traffic department), as well as to the fact that it would become a bottleneck on the street when the trafiic hour approached - i was verbally reprimanded and told to go and "k myself" as it wasnt an issue.
Within 10 minutes after Rynard putting the phone down on me, the truck returned and took the load away.
I am disgusted by the language that Rynard Swanepoel handled my legally valid query. It goes without saying that i will be handing over cctv and camera images of the incident to the relevant departments of the Cape Town Muncipality.
