I Am 5 months pregnant and I went for a fishing trip to a resort in Potchefstroom, I started bleeding so I rushed to the Duff Scott Hospital emergency room and there was no doctor on Duty. After three hours of waiting I decided to leave and I complained saying that patients can die waiting.
I went back to the resort and had a shower and I got this terrible pain in my stomach which led to a seizure. My husband and his Friend with my cousin rushed me back to the hospital as it was the closest and being a private hospital.
I had another seizure in the ER room and they called the doctor and the nurse told my husband that he prefers that he take me to another hospital as we wasted his time coming in the morning.
My Husband was so disgusted as this was an emergency yet the doctor refused to help someone that is in need.
the nurses refused to give the doctor that was suppose to be on duty's name!
I was rushed to potch public hospital where they helped me and luckily today I am Fine and My baby is growing healthy.
Im just Highly disappointed with the service as no one knew what to do besides check my vital signs!
