My brother in law died on 27th May 2012 and he was a member of the ATKV during his lifetime. My sister informed the ATKV about his death soon after he passed away, and was informed that he had life cover with the ATKV (a very small amount, but this is not the point). She (Mrs H J J Malan) forwarded all the relevant documents requested by Ann Smith of the ATKV and I started following up during October 2012 on her behalf, as I am also attending to the estate of the late S F Malan. His membership details with ATKV are as follows :
S F MALAN - MEMBER NUMBER MAL A0147.
The only response I ever receive from them is that they are looking into the matter and I was recently informed that certain Charmain Carstens is dealing with this. Despite VARIOUS enquiries and requests for an indication when the claim will be paid, there is no co-operation to finalize this matter. I also requested contact details for the CEO of the ATKV in order to contact him directly, without any success.
