The ‘Witch Rooms Team’ were contracted to build a timber frame first floor for us. Consisting of 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.
Our build began in May 2015, by December 2015 the project was still incomplete and the workmanship was well below standard.
They returned in January 2016 with one person to tackle a huge snag list. It was evident that Witch Rooms had no intention of making good on their shocking workmanship and we eventually had no choice but to call for arbitration.
As we entered arbitration, we were notified that Witch Rooms Pty Ltd had gone into liquidation, thereby avoiding having to go to arbitration with us and facing the huge issues we have with our home.
There is not enough space here to go through everything that is wrong with our home. After a year of every excuse in the book, of the blame game (because it was always our fault), threatening to take us to arbitration if payments were not made, even when the work was not complete and nowhere near industry standard, lies, lies and more lies. They are bullies!
Our toilets are falling off the walls, our showers are not usable, our wooden floor is a skater’s dream come true – in places you get vertigo the drop off is so significant. Our daughter sleeps in our bed most nights as the wind lifts the roof sheets then slams down again, making a very frightening noise. The paint on our windows and walls are bubbling and peeling. This is just a few of the many issues.

If this complaint stops just one person from using this company, then we have achieved something.
They will tell you we were awful clients, that we were a nightmare to deal with, that we changed our minds constantly. That is what Vincent Menge told us of the last court case he had regards his shocking workmanship. Stupid us for not checking.
Vincent Menge, Marcelle Polti and Jamie Maskell were all in on deceiving us, and ensuring that my husband and I will be digging ourselves out of a very black and deep financial hole for a very, very long time.
We have worked really hard for a very long time to complete our dream home, and that now lays in tatters.
DO NOT USE THEM!!! They trade under many names. Do not be fooled by the fact they have been in business since 1972. Do not think for a minute that Vincent Menge is someone you can trust with your biggest investment.
