I read with concern the reports about Medipet, the pet insurance company. I am a client & on sign up, I received my policy schedule promptly. At renewal times, documentation is sent out detailing any policy changes, and premium increases. I am then given the option to continue with my policy or not. This works the same way as my household insurance & my subscription to the company who monitors my burglar alarm and armed response. I carefully scrutinize my policy wording and documentation to ensure the claims I submit are valid. I dont claim within my excess, I dont claim for conditions that are not covered, and I do not submit claims that are too old. Because it is my responsibility to be completely au fait with the policy terms and conditions, I have never been disappointed by Medipet. Perhaps that is the difference between me & those responsible for some of the vicious & unfair complaints on this site. Perhaps if more people took the time to read their emails & policy wording, they would not be bitter when claims are rejected. Take responsibility for your policy and stop blaming the company for your own idiocy. Medipet does an incredible job!
