On 20 November was the 2nd time that I bought Chicken Curry from Indian Connection, and it will now be the last time ever. I tried it the first time as I was told the food was good, but my first experience was not a pleasant one, so decided after 6 months to give them a second chance.
I am disgusted at the portion size they give for the amount of money charged, it's a joke, and it excludes rice/roti to eat the curry with!! It isn't exactly the best curry in Durban - the "Home of Curry"
The service is shocking too. Called and ordered, then when we arrived to fetch the food were left standing in the front, there was no sign of any staff member for 10 minutes - had to go to find someone ourselves!
Emailed them to complain, no response. Called on 28th and the Manager (Nicole) didn't seem in the least bit interested. Bearing in mind Durban is inundated with places to buy curry, this restaurant is nothing more than a rip-off and should be ashamed of themselves. I don't know how they are still in business, don't deserve to be! Within a 2 km radius of my home there are approx. 20 places to buy curry from. This place needs to bear that in mind - if they can even be bothered to.
