I needed to have a two page document certified by a Commissioner of Oaths. I was in Flora Centre at the time and went through to the ABSA branch to see if they could assist me with certifying my two page document as they are the only bank which have a bank manager present in the shopping center. However, i was informed that as i do not bank with ABSA, they would not be able to assist me with this. As such, I ended up having to drive to Northgate Mall to get some assistance at my bank, FNB. While it would have taken 5 minutes to assist me at ABSA, and also have promoted ABSA bank at the same time, i was turned away. I will definately not be considering banking with ABSA in the near future.
