Applied for a joint bond from Ooba in Feb13. Submitted necessary docs & was apparently "APPROVED". Well, we "applied" for the new property- Vanguarg Residential Village. Excited about our 1st brand new home. In May I received an email from the lawyers Chris Marais, which stated that we should transfer an X amount to secure our flat, which we immediately done. Never heard anything from neither Ooba, lawyers or construction company since then. Yesterday my Fianc? & i went to the site to check for progress, come to find out.. My flat, which I thought was mine, was now under someone else's name. Keeping in mind that no person communicated anything with us. Ofcoz I'm off my head, raging with the lawyers, only for them to tell me that "your transaction was not proceeding". At this point in time, I thought the lawyers were the ones who mucked up,
So I then get an email from Ooba saying that the preapproval is not guarenteed & we had a low scoring. Ok wow so now you tell us??? After five long months of saying congrats for your bond. You guys have ruined my future plans & I'm not done yet!
