I am a single mom and bought a car about 18 months ago. I wanted good insurance and Miway was recommended.
They gave me great service and on 2 different occasions I broke down and was able to use the Miway Roadside Service and they were great - making sure that I got home safely.
My daughter has turned 17 and has just got her learners license so I phoned Miway to let them know that she would be driving my car and if this would affect my excess - they confirmed there would be an extra R2500 and unfortunately in this economic climate and as a single mom, I had to do some phoning around to compare these amounts. After doing this exercise, I did find another insurance company that gave me a better deal so I phoned MiWay to terminate my insurance. I spoke to Seieshtshiro (I hope I spelt it correctly) but this young gentleman really tried his best to convince me to stay with MiWay and did some pretty good negotiations with his supervisor but sadly they could still not match the other insurance company. Even though I am definitely terminating my service with MiWay I would really like to compliment Seiesshtshiro on his professional way he handled my phone call. Thanks Miway.
