Two months ago I did an online upgrade to an iPhone 4 on a Vodacom deal. I received the new phone only to find out it was an additional contract on-top of my existing contract and not an upgrade. When I eventually got through to Vodacoms pathetic help-line, I was transferred from person to person so that I could get this cancelled and get a refund. A courier service was sent to pick up the phone and I was told once that happened the full refund would be paid into my account. 2 months down the line I have still not received the refund and speaking with the call center today they said I'd only be receiving R292 back instead of R333.00?! NO reason given why the full amount isn't being paid, and this after numerous calls to the 'help desk'.
Today I wanted insurance on my NEW phone but have been double charged for some reason. On top of that I've found alternative insurance for cheaper but when I've been calling to cancel there is no record of the new insurance, BUT it's reflected on my online bill. I've just spent the last 3 hours trying to speak to someone competent (impossible) that could help with the cancellation but no one seems capable. Service is shocking! So now what!?
