Eing charged for a phone and airtime I don't have

I used vodacom's website on aporox 14 Aug to upgrade on my existing contract. When I got the phone two days later, I realised I had not requested an upgrade, but instead created a new contract. I visited Vodacom Greenacres PE to sort this out. I was told that I can cancel the unwanted contract - they will arrange to have the phone collected, after which the new contract will be cancelled. They collected the phone a few days later. On 1 Sept, the new contract amount was deducted off my bank account together with my existing contract amount. I contacted vodacom call centre on 3 Sept, and was told that the new contract was never cancelled, but they will correct this and a refund will be done within 14 working days. I just received my latest statement dd 13 Sept and was yet again billed for the contract that was supposed to be cancelled. Where is my refund and why am I still being charged?? This is not the first time it took vodacom ages to sort out my query while its costing me money. I wonder why I am still a loyal customer if they cannot get inplace proper infrastructure to handle the volumes of queties they receive daily.. the ref nr I received is S3-t0727-79eyb. Pse help!
