Our company has been a client of Telkom for 7 years. In Dec 2012 we moved office & asked them to move our wireless system. After numerous requests & calls they advised us that they were unable to move our existing system. We would have to take a new system which meant digging trenches for cables but we are only renting so couldn't do this. We were told that we would also have to change our existing number! Both of these were not an option so we decided to go with Neotel who didn't have to do either of these. Telkom in the meanwhile kept sending invoices for the wireless system which we were not using since we have moved. We had asked Telkom to cancel our services, which they agreed to & they agreed to credit us for the full amount - we have this on e-mail. 3 weeks ago we received a call & letter of demand from their debt collectors demanding payment! This is totally unacceptable since we didn't use the system, they were not able to assist us & promised a full credit. Our company is extremely unhappy with their service & we are disgusted at how we have been treated, especially since we have been a loyal client of theirs for 7 years!!!
