ADT - your response time is dreadful

In October a higher premium amount was deducted off my account. When I called the Call Centre, Khani confirmed that this was for "annual radio fees". I questioned why was I not informed of this, I was told, that an SMS was sent out. I let Khani know that I did not receive that particular SMS. I then went on to ask why an email didn't get sent out as well?

I get spammed by ADT on a weekly basis, would it have hurt them to communicate this additional debit off my account, even if they did send out an SMS as additional communication? Khani informed that ADT does not communicate via email (??)! I logged a complaint on ADT website on 1 October, where I received an automated email back to confirm that ADT would be in touch with me within 24 hours. Seems more like 24 days!

I find the lack of communication from ADT shocking, but even more so, the lack of responding to a complaint/query submitted via their own website!

Really ADT, I am tired of these odd amounts coming off my account, I think it is time I move over to another security/armed response company, who debits my account 1 amount for the year and with no additional costs sporadically! i
