I have had an ADSL account with Mweb for over a year. I noticed on my last payment (which is payed via debit order at an agreed amount per month) that I was overcharged.

I went into my Mweb email, and noticed that I have been billed for Internet Security software, which I never asked and also did not authorize.

I then sent an email back to Mweb's billing department on 31 August querying this additional charge, and had not received any response, so send another email yesterday and included [Email Removed] as their Billing Dept don't appear to care about responding to my enquiry. Another 24 hours have passed and I am still waiting for at the very least an acknowledgement to my complaint.

This is the 2nd time I have received such shocking service from Mweb, which isn't bad considering the length of time I've been with them. The problem is that both times have been absolute shockers.

It's a scary place when your service providers have the power to deduct money from you at their will, without your permission, for something that you never asked for in the first place!
