So is my account being cancelled or not?

As usual, the only way to get a response from ADT is to turn to HelloPeter. And they wonder why they get so many complaints...

I phoned the call centre on Friday the 29th Nov to say that I am moving at the end of the year, and would need to cancel my account. The lady I spoke to told me to email [Email Removed] so that they have it in writing, and that some one would be in contact with me from there. I did this immediately following the call.

By Monday I had heard nothing so I followed up with a second mail. It is now Wednesday - 5 days after my initial email- and I have yet to receive an email or call. And they have the cheek to slap on additional 'once off fees' when they can't even provide basic customer service. Completely shocking ad I can't wait to switch to another security provider once I move house.
