At the end of August I called the FNB Insurance call centre to cancel the home insurance portion of my policy. The consultant I spoke to advised that because the debit has already gone off my account, FNB will deduct only the difference from my account at the end of September. On the 26th September the full amount was debited. I called the call centre on Friday, 27th September and spoke to FultanaSultana, who confirmed that there is a refund pending on my account. I asked this consultant to please email me confirmation of the refund, which she agreed to but to this hour I have still not received an email from her.

On Monday, 30th September I called again and this time spoke to Tshepo. He transferred me to his team leader who advised that I need to send an email to FNB to confirm that I will not reject the debit order before they can process the refund. Please see the attached; I sent the email immediately. The team leader confirmed that she will forward my email to your finance department and have the refund processed ASAP. Today is a week later, still no refund.

Friday night, 4th October, Hollard took yet another debit from my account, R826.00. For what??
