Not applying to what the claim form stipulates

Since the 17th of February 2013 I send all the necessary information regarding an insurance claim and still today my application is said to be pending, first it was said that they send me a letter via post which turned out to be a wrong address, secondly they were not updating me of what is happening then suddenly they want telephone records of the claim. what makes matters worse is that the items reported is my wife's wedding ring, bracelet and earrings.by the time of the she left her phone at home and now they don't wand to process the claim because the cell phone was not . can you please help as this guys are taking me from pillar to post each and every time I call them and at some stages she just hang up the phone when she hear it me on the line.
