NO CASH REFUND!

Hippo Hideaway vouchers, I purchased two on 22/01, 1 x 2 slpr & 1 x 4 slpr. Merchant had no 2 slpr was advised to buy another 4 slpr. On 23/01 called Groupon to advise agent I wanted the 2 slpr voucher to be refunded & converted to Groupon credit which was R900. Was going to use towards purchase of 4 slpr. Agent advised me the credit would not be avail asap since deal closes in 15 hours. Was advised to purchase the 4 slpr voucher with my credit card & she would refund the cash to my bank acc. She confirmed she would speak to her supervisor to make sure it does not get converted to Groupon credit but paid cash to my acc. I now received an e-mail 26/01 advising me the cash cannot be refunded but converted to Groupon credit! That is not what was agreed with agent in that case I would have NOT used my cash & waited for the credit to be active on my acc but the agent ASSURED me that I would receive cash refund. I'm livid, I clearly advise the agent I wanted a refund & she converted it into credit without my approval. The phone call was recorded at work so I have proof. Responded to the e-mail to advise the person to refer my query to the manager but received no response as yet!!!
