I bought a voucher in September 2012. After trying to contact the voucher merchant a number of times and only getting voicemail I contacted Groupon in January 2013 to ask for alternative contact details for the merchant. They did not have anything. So I asked for a cash refund. After not receiving the refund in my account for about a month I decided to call Groupon. They said they had processed the refund. I insisted I didn't get anything. They then requested a bank statement of my account from September to February for further investigation. I submitted this info, showing all entries but only the Groupon purchase amounts. They agreed to give me a Groupon credit. But then I received an email saying that they won't give me a credit but rather a refund into my account! I said I didn't want the refund because of the previous problem. I got a response that they were experiencing a "major backlog" and would attend to my query but that I should not reply. That was a month ago and still I have no refund and no Groupon credit. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
