My account was unlawfully debited (15/11/2013); without consent/notice by Planet Fitness - through a debt collector SAYA Recoveries. I had previously dealt with SAYA Recoveries when I cancelled my initial Planet Fitness membership. Upon inquiry it became clear that the error was made by Planet Holdings (after extensive emails were sent by me to Heidi Naidoo-Planet Fitness;Beverly Davids-SAYA Recoveries;Thabo Mphuthi-Planet Holdings) Heidi acknowledged that the error was made by their Head Office 18/11"they hadn't action-ed the cancellation request sent by me in October 2012 for December 2012.When I requested that my money be refunded into my account - Heidi said she would attend to it-5 days later no feedback was forthcoming, I sent an reminder via email 22/11, 6 more days went by; then she sends an email 28/11 claiming that my Liberty Own Your Life Rewards (OYL) account is in arrears (a Liberty Loyalty Program I have and had just activated my Planet Fitness coupon - to activate my new membership). My OYL is not in arrears, never has been. Confirmed with two agents from Liberty. I informed Heidi and Thabo of this a week ago 28/11.Planet Fitness has yet to refund my money & they don't care
