After my previous complaint on HelloPeter Retrenchment assist have responded splendidly, service was great as it was the first day when I walked through the doors. The new Lawyer assigned to my case was a blessing, everything was dealt with, with speed and efficiency, I received calls back when I was promised and was kept up to date as everything progressed! But, after all the fights and drama, the new lawyer assigned to my case was not aware of the telephonic arrangements between myself and my previous attorney, who after a bitter phone call from me 'could not remember' or 'never requested via e-mail or paperwork' asked for a retrenchment letter from my previous employer. Now this really bats me for a six, why would someone go to RETRENCHMENT ASSIST and not request a retrenchment letter? Did the previous attorney really think he could just not try and get it? I was promised that from day one when I signed the paper for them to take nearly half of the settlement money, which was not even paid out correctly from the first payment. How is this acceptable? Now I'm stuck with bills cause i'm apparently not retrenched and the payment plans can't fall in place without that letter!!!
