On Wednesday morning my boyfriend flew from Durban to Lanseria on Kulula airlines. A few days pervious, he had broken his foot and was instructed by an orthopedic surgeon not walk at all if possible as surgery still had to take place. I therefore phoned Kulula and requested assistance and a wheelchair on and off the aircraft and to help with his baggage. The Kulula operator confirmed this request and assured us of this service, However no one helped him to find his seat while entering the aircraft and upon arrival in Lanseria after remaining in his seat for assistance, NOONE came to assist him, even after asking! He then had to climb down the stairs and try to walk all the way to the baggage collection where he had to get his bag (once again with no help). We are absolutely appalled at the treatment he received and the pure lack of concern for Kulula's passengers. We frequently fly with Kulula between Durban and Johannesburg/Lanseria, however after this experience will prefer to use other airlines in the future.
