Normally I would not lodge a complaint, but I am so fed up with the increasingly bad service of Vodacom that I decided to resort to hellopeter. The last incident was when I saw that my data Cap was depleted, as I have formatted my whole computer with updates having to be rerun. I purchased additional bundles on Vodacom's website, the bundle usually reflects immediately. I noticed thereafter that I have not received a SMS indicating that the bundle was loaded. I saw that the data has not been updated however my account have been debited. Since I made the purchase an additional 200 megabytes (at out of bundle rates) was incurred. I firstly called the 111 service. The person I spoke to kept arguing with me that I have not purchased the data as it didn't reflect on his system, but it did on their website. It seemed he couldn't understand this. I then called 155 which handles data queries. I explained my problem and stated my concern for having to pay out of bundle rates, and I confirmed that he understood this. To make a long story short it seemed that he also did not. He logged a call with an 'engineer' to call me back within 24 hours, and as expected, 3 days later, still nothing.
