Absolute frustration and poor survice all round

Today is the third time I have been into an MTN store in the last two months trying to resolve why my internet dongle has not been working since november 2012. Besides the atmosphere of unprofessional, overcrowded and slow moving service, the assistants were not able to tell me why I was not notified that it was a late payment that blocked my account and why, after that payment went through, they continued to accept my payments (on debit order) without notifying or unblocking my account. They are unable to tell me where this money now sits and how it translates back to me and my dongle but insist that I call the call centre. the call centre number 808 persistently gives an incorrect/out of use tone. If I cancel the debit order I am liable for breaking the contract so how on earth do I get away from this thing. It is not easy for me to get to their store or to make long standing phone calls, i am completely frustrated by their shocking service.
