On 4 December 2012, after numerous unanswered emails begging for the amount I need to pay to terminate the cell phone account early, I issued MTN with my notice of cancellation. This was emailed to the webmaster email address within the designated cancelation timeframe as stipulated in my contract. I was advised that the contract would end as of 02/03/2013 and have now been billed for March in addition to the final payment that would have been owing on the account. With reference to numerous emails prior to the notice of cancellation asking for the amount required to terminate the contract early I trust the billing error will be rectified, the contract ended as of 2-3-13 after which I will pay the final payment of 249 owing on the account.
