Am on contract with Vodacom since last millenium. Due for upgrade, I choose Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE. Called in, saved R150 fees. Delivered in 3 days! Great. Then I spent the weekend studying the manual, copying contacts, creating email accounts etc. Awesome. Monday night I call 111 & get new simcard activated. Sweet. Comes on, I make phone calls, am happy. Tuesday morning - no network. Battery out, simcard out, put it together, switch on. "SIM/RUIM card is locked. | No service" All day on the phone to Vodacom & Samsung. Nobody knows. "You must get assessment." But they close at 18h00 - Service Center??? Very bad. I asked for immediate replacement, as it was brand new out of the box. 20 landline calls later I'm still stuck. They cannot reactivate old simcard in old phone either. This is absolutely horrible! I get faulty goods, and no replacement, no interim relief. All while I cannot use the paid contract services on my existing phone number. Vodacom, you really disappoint!!!
