Vodacom is pathetic with number transfers

I'm trying to transfer my number from MTN to Vodacom since Friday, and yesterday they told me it was activated and my number would be on the new Simcard this morning.
First they told me to not put the sim into the phone, then this afternoon they said I have to put in the simcard to activate the transfer. Then I called the Vodacom customer care, and they said I shouldn't have put in the simcard. Now, I have to get a new simcard, perhaps RICA again, pay another R65 or R150, and wait another week for nothing to happen to have the same cycle start again.
Seriously! Vodacom, train your people to have synergy and not to confuse or cause misunderstandings. And get your porting from MTN to a better level, because I still can't use my phone because of slack service.
