On the 22 January I upgraded to a new phone on line. 30 minutes after ordering I realised I had ordered the incorrect colour and called to cancel my order and order the correct colour. After going from department to department a customer service staff member captured my request to cancel, I was informed this could take 5 days to turnaround. The next day the new phone was delivered to my office but I was not there as I thought it would take 5 days. On 27 January I sent an email stating that I had requested a cancellation. A customer care staff member called me, captured my story and my details again and I received an email and an sms stating "We have escalated your query to our Sales division for further assistance. Your reference number is xxx and you will be contacted within 48 hours." I am still waiting for my phone call. On 4 February I sent another email to state that I was appalled by the service and I actually no longer wanted my new phone or even to continue my contract with Vodacom. I received another reply to my email stating that my grievance had been escalated and I would be contacted in 2 days... I AM STILL WAITING... WHAT A JOKE
