Promised a credit which hasn't materialized

About a month ago, I was promised that my account will be credited with an amount which should reflect in my December statement in mtn's effort to retain me as a customer as I wasn't happy with the overall service from them. Their condition to this offer was that I had to do an upgrade with I duly did. I then receive my december statement and to my dismay the credit hasn't been done. I call to the retentions dept today doesn't wield any joy as I am told that it was an error on their side..something about their system and that the credit cannot be done now but will only be done end of february which will be over 2 months after their initial promise. The guy I spoke to today wasn't even conviencing making me feel that I have made the biggest mistake in retaining my business at mtn. They have again made empty promises to me which I feel is unacceptable after I have been a client for so long. Mtn's service is really appauling and pathetic!!!
