Inability to correct faulty/slow ADSL line

For the duration of our contract. Telkom has been unable to correct the problem of a faulty and slow ADSL connection, I have a 10 mbps do broadband package 4, which has never since the speed upgrade from 4mb actually operated at 10MB.

The line operates during the day at 512 Kbps and during the evening at no greater than 2mbps, with an average line speed of 1mbps, this is unacceptable and is in breach of my contract which should guarantee me line speeds of at least 4mb.

I have complained about this problem as well as my line dropping sporadically for over a year, we used to have 4mb that only operated at 1mbps, and I expected that with a speed upgrade we would have seen an improvement.

I will be contacting Telkom accounts as well as the marketing devision again tomorrow to voice my concerns and will keep the patrons of hellopeter informed of my progress if any.

I would never suggest a Telkom product to anyone considering the way this has been handled up until this point. In my frustration I am turning to this forum to voice my anger at this ploy Telkom calls fast cheap ADSL.
