Account paid yet doesn't reflect on system

I received my last monthly electronic statement on the 21 Nov 2013 which stated that an amount of R175.63 is due. I made a payment on the 05 Dec 2013, Thursday for an amount of R500 via EFT [URL Removed] like I always do. This amount was debited from my FNB account on the 06th Dec 2013, Friday. I received an sms notification of this being actioned (Ref: Billscoza Edgars T7l). To date it has not reflected on the system. I received an sms today, 12 Dec 2013 stating "Please pay your Edcon acc no 7000100100140721952 urgently in order to maintain your positive payment record and good credit reference." I called the customer care dept upon receiving this sms to query it. I was told that the last payment reflecting on their side was made on the 26/10/2013 for R500 and the payment made recently does not reflect. I was further told to call the Remittance dept on 011-4989250. I have tried many times, it either just rings with no answer or I get a busy tone. I need to know what has happened to that R500 that was debited off my account. This is unacceptable as I have made payment yet it does not reflect on your side. Due to this, my credit history will be negative now! Kindly advise URGENTLY!
