Pathetic Service On New Contract

Signed a contract for a new mobile phone on 27/09/13 @ Gateway Vodacom @ 11:00. Was told it would be active in a couple of hours. 24 hrs later still no activation. Contacted call centre, referred to activation centre who referred me to the store itself!!! Got told by some employee that only the consultant that prepared the contract can assist and he would call me back ASAP. I call back an hour later after receiving no response and speak to the store manager who informs me that activation is a national problem at the moment and he can't understand why the call centre referred me back to the store! He would personally get the consultant to contact me. Further hour and a half later and still no response! I probably had the salesman of the year this guys that busy. Makes me wonder why I hold 4 contracts with Vodacom? Not acceptable guys, on any level. Is Vodacom going to pro rata my account because I couldn't use the handset I'm paying for? Am I also going to credited for all my calls to the store? And what about the aggravation caused? Never mind, there's other alternatives out there.
