Sim activiation

I have ordered a phone online through Vodacom 16th July 2013. I have received the phone the following day and immediately called the 'Activiation Department' to have the sim activated. The consultant than told me that line would be activated Manualy. The line was then activated at 09:03am 18 July 2013. I was then told that i should wait 4 to 5 hours for the sim to be fully activated. I did that, at about 14h30 the line was still down and had no signal on the phone. i then called vodacom back and told me to leave the phone off for another 2 hours which by this time i was already frustrated. I then did that, and then at 16h30 i got a call from Mampo at the Activation department to follow up if everything was fine and i told her no, phone still has no signal. She then told me that i should go to a Vodacom store and see if they can help. I went to Vodacom 4U store at Clearwater Mall and the guys there told me that they cannot do anything as the Activation department needs to sort this out. I was then told to leave the phone off again up until this morning at 10 and by then it should be fine. I switched the phone back on at 10 and the same problem still exist.
