I applied for a vodacom contract & cancelled within 7 days. I requested a refund of my R97 connection fee plus the monthly contract fee that was deducted a month later. I made a few calls to the call centre, all in vain. I was referred to Tygervalley walk-in store who told me they cannot assist and I shouldn't believe anything the call centre says. They referred me to Canal Walk's Walk in vodashop, & still no joy. I made 3 calls to the walk in centre and am told every time I have to speak to the consultant that assisted me, who apparently has been given the message. No one calls back. What I don't understand is, why do I have to wait on her if the problem was logged on the system, then again, they couldn't trace anything on the reference number I was given on my 1st walk in and apparently she has the paper work, what happens if she immigrates without informing vodacom, because she has the paper work my request won't be handled? Oh, and because it's a "walk -in" centre no supervisors or manages are available to speak to you. I am so frustrated, ...it's no longer about the money it's about the very poor client service.
