AIG Life formally known as Chartis claims department is so slow. I sent in my claim form and all the necessary documentation on the 14th of November, this is suppose to take 7-14 working days for me to receive payments.
They do not even contact you when they have received your claim to give you the claim number and feedback on the status of the claim. I've had to call several times for me to get the claim number and the status of the claim.
A month later payments still hasn't been done, yet we pay out instalments on time and when joining the scheme they promise us a hustle free claiming process. I really think that they need to beef up on the process and give feedback immediately.
