In November 2012 I was involved in a car accident whereby I was rear ended. After the car was repaired and the dust had settled I enquired as to the status of the claim against the defendant's insurance company, including the claim of the excess paid by myself. I do not recall the name of the lady who was initially appointed to my claim, however, she was not very helpful and rather non-committal with regards to the status of the claim. The lady then left the employ of Outsurance and Monique Rasmussen was appointed to my claim.

Unfortunately, Monique received the brunt of my frustration and anger due to her predecessor's nonchalant attitude towards my claim. Monique explained that the claiming process was a lengthy one and that I would have to be patient. Monique was nothing but calm and polite when I noted with serious dissatisfaction (read as me being very rude) that there was no progress on the status of the claim from my first enquiry with her predecessor some months back. From that moment on Monique kept me abreast of the status of the claim from the letter of demand, to the summons and the eventual settlement of the claim.

Monique is an asset to Outsurance!
