I shudder to think that ABSA has my money!

I needed to open an ABSA account so I went in and was told that I need to fill out a proof of residence (POR) form and have it stamped by a Commissioner of Oaths. I had this done. I then had a debit and credit card set up. The consultant took my POR papers and put them onto the system. A few days later I received an sms saying I need to bring my ID book, POR and pay slip. I went into the branch with this and the women at the front desk said I would need another form filled in as POR. She didn't even bother to give me the form like she had last time - instead she made me queue at Customer Services. When I got to the teller she told me I needed a different form as I had a letter and copy of POR. Once again l had it signed. Upon return a different teller told me that my POR was actually already done. Despite POR being done he nit picked at the copy of the utility bill. He then said my pay slip was incorrect and I needed a carbon copy or a company stamp - despite being told that that is the official pay slip. I am so fed up now that I will be cancelling the card. I've been at ABSA for 2 weeks and I'm already sick of them. If those tellers are anything to go by - my money is NOT safe!
