Proof of residence from a home loan client?

I am a Platinum client and I have had a home loan account with ABSA since September. My transfer has gone through and ABSA takes bond money off of my account as the homeowner, however the registration is taking time with the municipality. I sent through a proof of residence letter from the estate agency as well as the signed Agreement of Sale to ABSA, but these are both "not acceptable" means of proof of residence. At the ABSA Secunda branch I was given a 3122 form, and asked to on the form by getting someone to say that they live with me (even though I live alone) and that I stay in the residence and get it signed at a Commissioner of Oaths. When I said it was illegal, they said "That's the way the form is filled out"!

I cannot believe that it should be this difficult to confirm that I live in a place that ABSA has my home loan at! I also do not accept that it is standard for ABSA employees to tell me to lower my integrity!
