I bought a deal for the durban ice rink and paid for it the next day which was the 14th of March, total cost was R160.00. I waited a week for groupon to send me the voucher. I had not received anything after a week and decided to call groupon. I waited on the line for about 35mins until a guy named Loyiso attented to my call. I asked him about my voucher and after a while he found out that the deal that I purchased was not sent because not enough deals where bought on that particular product. He explained to me that my transfer of R160 was received and that I was going to receive a refund in the form of credit on the groupon site. After a few days Loyiso requested my banking details and I forwarded all details to him. It is now the 4 of April, almost a month now from the date of purchase and I have not received my money back!
Why does groupon take your money and then give excuses. Why do we have to phone and waited almost an hour to receive service from them. It just shows how poor their customer service skills are. What assurance do I have that I am going to receive a voucher after Ive paid next tym? who's paying for the call that I made twice to groupon for over an hour in total
