During December I bought a Dinner voucher through Groupon. Usually it takes less than a week for Groupon to transfer the voucher through to you, for some reason three weeks down the line I still had not received my voucher. So I decided to call their head office and follow up on my voucher. After waiting for over 30min as I was the 39th caller waiting in line I finally got through and I was told that it was a mistake on their side and that my query has been "escalated to the relevant department and receiving VVIP attention". Well a week down the line still no voucher and no feedback. Had to call in again where once again I waited over 30mins on the line as I was the 34th caller only to be told that the deal I bought closed without success meaning there were not enough buyers so they closed the deal. Yet they don't notify us purchases of the deal. When the lady at the call centre explained to me what had happened to my voucher she asked if I would like to be refunded in Groupon credits or money back in my account. I SPECIFICALLY asked for them to put in my bank account and guess what? I have groupon credits meaning now I have to waste another 30min of my time to fix that problem.
