I have been to Steers in Richwood (Total Garage) about few times for the Wacky special & I always order the same - 1 beef & 1 veg burger (Wacky Special). This has never been an issue. No-where does it state it must be 2 of the same patties- ie 2 beef, 2 chicken or 2 veg. It only states it has to be 2 Wacky burgers. Wednesday 27 Nov I went again for the usual order (on this occasion it was the Monkeygland on special). I ordered 1 veg & 1 beef - Thomas (slip says Henry) stated this was not possible even though we had ordered our special like this a number of times before with no problem. I also pointed out what the terms and conditions are. He proceeded to be rude, walked away saying it must be a misunderstanding and continued walking away. I replied stating that it wasn't a misunderstanding but he just carried on walking out of the shop.
This is how we always place our order - now suddenly we get this pathetic service & attitude? I will never go to steers again because I refuse to degrade myself begging for one beef & one veg burger - I refuse to be treated like I'm a beggar instead of a paying customer. Plus, this Thomas was so rude and arrogant, clearly giving us attitude.
