Billed after cancellation

So I decided to cancel my service, which was good up to this point, due to cost implications. I applied online for cancellation early February and disabled the auto top-up on the account. According to their knowledge base article: Leaving Web Africa during a billing period, I was well within the time to have my account cancelled at the end of February. On 28 February, my account was topped up with another gb.

I immediately logged a support ticket stating this, which got a quick response and data credited back to me. I stopped worrying about the account, as it should now be disabled and not in use, but to my surprise I got a bill for 4gb used. Logging another support ticket I got a reply stating that I used data in March, but they will credit me for 1gb. I replied to them that this is not acceptable and had to explain it yet again, but only got this reply:

We cannot credit you for bandwidth that was used.
My apologies should you deem this a unfavorable response.

Thanks Web Africa! I will NEVER use you as an ISP again and I will definitively NEVER recommend you again.
