AFTER 6 MONTHS, BILLED FOR A CANCELLED ACCOUNT

I had an account through my company Dimension Data and it was cancelled, but i needed my number to be ported. I ended up not taking the porting and was asked to send a mail to request a cancellation to port. i did this on the 21st of January 2013. Yesterday (2nd of July) i get an sms from FNB that R311 was debited from my account from Nashua Mobile, this was a surprise because i have not seen any debit from them since January or February, i only get debited from Vodacom because of a new separate contract. I called them asking WHY am i being billed, especially so long after i have cancelled my account with them. The supervisor or manager tell me its because of a ported number that is still not cancelled and being used and they will get back to me, in which they did not. I have two mails i sent from January requesting a cancellation and a Reference with the mail i sent to corporate support. Later in the day i get a surprise email telling my my balance of R935. i called and they gave me Dimonet Wolmarans's email, i mailed her and got a VERY short response that does not make sense. not even a contact number. i received NO notifications about anything outstanding for MONTHS and now this
