On Tuesday 12 March, I called the upgrade centre to upgrade two of my cell contracts. Service centre agent, Lawrence, omitted to advise that additional monthly costs for the new handset would be applicable considering I was very clear in stating that I did not want to incur additional costs. I was e mailed two quotations for the upgrades and upon perusal, noted than an additional R214 pm was on the quote for the new handsets. I immediately called Lawrence to advise him of the error. Needless to say both phones arrived by courier the next morning which I did not accept and sent back to sender with the same courier. I have contacted vodacom in excess of 10 times since then and still can't seem to get my upgrades cancelled. I feel like a ping pong ball being bounced all over the place with no one taking ownership of resolving my problem. Now I have to wait for the courier company, to return the phones before any action can be taken to resolve my query. Very efficient in getting the phones to me Vodacom, very inefficient in resolving this matter.
