I have been a Vodacom customer for the last 9 years with the same mobile number. I am currently on my 24th month of my contract and hence attempted to upgrade and migrate my package with Vodacom Direct's upgrade department as I had selected a special from the internet promotion. Needless to say, I had logged the new phone as faulty on the day I received it. I was advised to call the data centre for assistance who directed me back to the upgrades dprtmnt to log the faulty phone. I had done so on Tues 12th March and was advised within 24hours the courier will fetch my phone. I had called on Wed 13th Mar to follow up and was requested to wait for the courier. Called again on Thurs 14th Mar and had been told that someone had closed the case without my phone being swapped out for an OBF. Nobody seems to know what is going on at the call centre. I had made numerous calls to find out what the status is. A new case was logged on Thurs 14th Mar. Courier delivered phone on Tues 19th, I sent back the phones. Was advised definitely on Friday 22nd March my upg will be reversed as I had requested. On Friday was told to wait until Mon. They keep pushing the goal post around making customers wait.
