Upgrade dissatisfaction

Vodacom contacted us to upgrade our phones. The incorrect handsets were delivered on 13December but the error was only picked up on Christmas Day and reported to Vodacom on 27 December. Vodacom agreed to cancel the upgrades and have the handsets collected immediately. Once they received the handsets they would cancel the renewal contracts and we could upgrade our phones at any Vodacom store. After a number of calls the handsets were finally collected on 14 January. To date Vodacom has not cancelled the contracts and we are unable to obtain our new handsets. We telephoned Vodacom Upgrades again today and after holding on for about 3 minutes the recorded message said if we required them to call us back we should press # and they would get back to us within an hour. I pressed # at approximately 15:20 but at 17.10 they had not returned our call. I phoned again and after another 5 minutes of listening to a voice recorded message telling me that I was being put throughout to the next available operator, I finally got through to an operator who advised me that they are unable to assist me as this business is dealt with by Vodacom Rewards and they are now closed
