Upgraded contract not updated

Telecommunications

On the 21st June 2012 i upgraded my existing MTN contract to an Anytime 350. All well until i recived my first bill which was excessive but i thought that maybe it was because of carry over from one contract to the next. Each month the bill was excessive, i contacted the Mtn call centre and spoke to Gertrude Mothiba, no joy all she sent me was copies of my accounts which i already had. Eventually i switched every app and service off on my phone and short of putting the phone in my drawer and forgetting about it and yet the bills were still high.
Suspecting that my contract had not been migrated correctly i went to the Mtn Branch on the 25th Feb 2013 to have my suspicions confirmed that this was indeed the case.
I was given a reference number and subsequently received notice that the contract would be corrected and a credit note issued. This has has not happened and today I received a sms stating that I had reached 90% of my credit limit of R1400.
What do i need to do to get communication from Mtn about what is happening with my account? I tried 808 but after 10 minutes and i dont know how many repeats of the same inane recorded message I gave up!
