I upgraded my cell phone contract, and went from a top up contract to an anytime contract, I was advised that I could put a limit on this contract because I was nervous of what my bill would be because I had never had a contract before. I was assured that this facility had been set up on my bill, but that it wasn't guaranteed at R700.00 but it would lock my phone close enough to this amount. The next time I was contacted it was to say that my bill was over R12500.00. The limit had never been put on my account. During this time and many trips to Nashua. My phone was sent in for repairs and Nashua decided to replace the faulty phone with a brand new phone, so I therefore could not prove anything was ever wrong with this phone, Itemized billing shows that the phone had more than likely never closed any site that had been opened even though they no longer appeared on the phone itself. I am told by Nashua in Durban, that I am responsible for this account because the phone was in my possession. If the woman in Nashua had set the limit in the beginning as discussed none of this would have happened. Don't trust Nashua Ballito staff members.
